Composition Workshop

The Composition Workshop that ended with a performance of the participants compositions on April 7 was a rousing success. Everyone did a great job with their original tunes and felt they got a lot out of the class.

It’s now time for Composition Workshop, Part 2. After conferring with Zack, we felt the second workshop should be longer to allow more in depth work without feeling rushed and to allow for attendees to miss one or two sessions without getting behind. So here’s the way the new workshop will look:

• 10 weeks: June 16 thru August 18.
• Classes will be held on Thursday nights, 7 to 8:30 at the Colorado Jazz Workshop rehearsal space, 3575 S. Sherman St, Englewood.
• Cost: $150
